Me: But I have not even quoted the fee as I let the instructing counsel decide.

TIC: I was told you are very expensive and so I had to ask you that. The word is out there!

TIC: Sir, how much do you think we should quote in this matter. I insist that you should tell me this time.

Me (puzzled): anything is fine, what you wanted me to quote the last occasion is also fine.

TIC : Sir you are charging very less than you should. The other instructing counsels are also feeling the same. The word is out there!
